Building momentum for a new semester

My college life begins again. Well, it began two days ago. I'm still getting my head in the game and trying to psych myself up for it, but it's not working. I just barely care. Last semester, although quite successful, was lackluster. I love my major, Philosophy, but I really dislike having to read books and essays that are assigned to me. I especially hate homework. But we all have to make compromises at times sadly.

And on top of all of that I am a full-time student again. For a bit I was just planning on taking just two courses  this semester, but that would delay my graduation by a full semester, so to hurry the process I decided to just change my schedule. Will I be able to keep up with the work load? Probably not, but I'm going to give it my all. Or at least, my most. Maybe just the tip.

Part of my curriculum this semester is working on the "senior thesis" aspect of my major. I have to do a bit of research on a topic I find interesting, and write a 30 - 60 page paper based on that research. Sounds fun enough I guess. I haven't decided on a topic yet, but I should really speak to a counselor before I begin.

What wonders will this semester bring with it.
